This guide is designed to assist the student with X-ray interpretation. It includes identification of various Improvised Explosive Device (IED) components such as batteries, initiators, explosives, and switches. It also includes the identification of prohibited items such as knives, guns, cameras, cell phones, and liquids.
This guide contains over 200 X-ray images of all the different types of threats an X-ray operator can encounter at a checkpoint. All the images are X-ray correct and are true depictions of threat items.

- Concealed IEDs
