Job Description:

  • Accepts deliveries; unpacking pallets.
  • Verifies items received by inspecting the condition of items; comparing count/measure of items to purchase order and packing list; noting discrepancies.
  • Documents items received by recording information in SAP.
  • Transfers orders received by routing or delivering items to requesting department.
  • Obtain shipping quotes from shippers.
  • Place received material in inventory.
  • Prepares shipments by assembling, packing, protecting, and labeling containers compliant with ITAR and HazMat regulations.
  • Determines the method of shipment by examining items to be shipped, destination, route, rate, and time of shipment.
  • Ships items by working in FedEx, UPS and USPS website software.
  • Maintains shipping and receiving materials by checking stock to determine inventory levels.
  • Contributes to team effort by working in related jobs typically found in a small business.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or higher;
  • Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel; ability to work in SAP business operating system.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication.
  • Able to meet reasonable deadlines; capable of anticipating problems to avoid problems.

Customer Service Rep

Job Description:

Sale and Marketing requires a person to perform general Customer Service functions as follows. We are looking for someone to work with the sales staff to organize, manage and coordinate order processing. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support-related tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision, once trained on the specifics of this position. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible, and enjoy the administrative challenges of customer service. You will serve as a point of contact for customers with queries about products, orders, and deliveries and provide support for sales representatives. Our ideal candidate is goal-oriented and has a deep knowledge of customer service best practices.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • At least 2+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
  • High school diploma required (college degree preferred).
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • A strong sense of professionalism and discretion required.

Responsibilities

  • DSA is looking for a Customer Service Associate who can assist customers with product issues and help to maintain a high customer retention level.
  • The CSR will be responsible for taking incoming calls from our customer base and addressing customer product issues and concerns.
  • The successful candidate will be required to develop a comprehensive understanding of our customer service policies and know when issues need to be escalated to the management staff for resolution.
  • Become familiar with customer relationships ensuring that all activities and requests are completed to the satisfaction of Company business
  • practices.
  • Update the company customer database by inputting information from each call and keeping every customer field current across various platforms.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop efficient methods for handling issues with larger revenue customers.
