The long-life positive-ion dopant contains solid ammonia that is released as a gas during the life of the product. Under typical operating conditions, the product will gradually be depleted over an 11-month period as intended. If it is not used for two months or more, DSA Detection recommends the dopant be refrigerated or frozen to preserve its potency; a shorter storage period at room temperature is acceptable.
